The International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) Pediatric Formulations Focus Group strives to achieve global harmonization of oral extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices. Your participation in this survey will support this goal by helping us understand oral extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices, needs and challenges in your geographic region.
Participation in this survey is completely anonymous and voluntary. By completing the survey you are giving us permission to collate and publicly share the data for the purpose of harmonizing global oral extemporaneous pediatric preparation practices.
 

Consent Statement

 
Study purpose: To understand oral extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices, needs and challenges. The survey will gather your responses on oral extemporaneous preparations for children. 
 
What will be done: We would like you to complete this survey through an online link, which will take approximately 10 minutes. This survey includes questions pertaining to the oral extemporaneous pediatric products you prepare and the formulations you use. The ultimate goal is to achieve global harmonization of oral extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices.
 
Benefits of the study: Through an improved understanding of extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices, global organizations can work together to address pediatric formulation challenges and needs of different geographic regions. 

Study risks: Minimal risks or discomforts are anticipated from taking part in this study. No identifiable data is being collected from this survey. You can withdraw from the survey at any time and your response will not be recorded. Your participation in this survey is entirely voluntary; you are free to decide not to participate without any loss of benefit or without affecting your relationship with any person at Butler University or FIP.
 
Confidentiality: Your responses will be kept completely anonymous and no individuals will be identified. Information will be aggregated across geographic regions. 
 
How the findings will be used: The findings will be used to identify ways of improving and harmonizing oral extemporaneous pediatric compounding practices worldwide, such as through the development of training opportunities or open access databases for pediatric preparations. The results from the study may be presented in educational settings and professional conferences, and the results may be published in a professional journal and as a report.
